This architecturally designed home situated on the cliff of Love Bay overlooking the rolling green hills of Kiama in contrast to the deep blue sea. As this home is exposed to all the elements, a significant focus was placed on the design and construction process, working in collaboration with the architect on build requirements.
High Performance New Build
Shell Cove Marina, NSW
Located in a prime position within Shell Cove Marina, our clients were eager to build a high performance house incorporating various passive house elements to achieve a healthier, thermally comfortable and more energy efficient home.
Featuring a natural colour tone, this home is amplified by the hardwood timber floors, PaperRock kitchen bench top which is constructed using recycled paper from renewable sources, and Weathertex cladding which is made from 97% recycled hardwood. A Heat Recovery Ventilation (HRV) system was installed to maximise energy efficiency, maintain thermal comfort and continuously optimise indoor air quality.
